Innovation Training Programs That Ignite

With over 30 organizations and 300 individuals served, the Learning Lab, housed in the 1819 Innovation Hub, acts as a think tank for the art and science of learning. Our team helps corporate partners and the region’s brightest innovators learn how to learn better.

The backing of 1819’s resources and services allows us to position entrepreneurs, small businesses, startups, executives and corporate teams to achieve three months of innovation in three days.

What Kind of Innovation Can We Help With?

We know that innovation goes beyond products (though we also have a fabrication space for that). Our experience extends to innovating marketing campaigns, implementing emerging technologies, creatively executing strategic business goals and crafting fresh ways to improve organizational culture.

Whatever the challenge, our innovation training, collaborative workshops and leadership innovation management programs are designed to help disruptors better disrupt and businesses to strategically manage innovation initiatives in their brands and industries.

As the front door to the University of Cincinnati, we enhance trainings and workshops with our institution's expertise, including custom solutions and high-level consulting. Through the 1819 Learning Lab, gain access to:

  • Innovative solutions in information technology, data and security
  • Skilled faculty researchers and their ideas across a range of disciplines
  • Collaborative events with the most innovative students at UC
  • A 12,000-square-foot makerspace for prototyping ideas
  • Employee upskilling with courses and certificates from UC
  • Connections with corporate partners and resident startups and entrepreneurs
