On 1819's ground floor, discover a welcoming community and cutting-edge technology such as 3D printers, computer-controlled manufacturing equipment and game streaming studios.

  • Office of Innovation front desk: Looking for a tour or need help with directions? Visit the front desk, where our team is ready to guide you.

  • Ground Floor Makerspace: Hone your craft in a 12,000-square-foot makerspace offering pathways to commercialization. From in-depth orientation to training and certification, explore and use equipment fueled by your curiosity.

  • University of Cincinnati Esports: The Esports Innovation Lab attracts gamers of all levels, from beginners to ambitious individuals competing in livestreamed events.

The second floor of the 1819 Innovation Hub features corporate offices and meeting spaces for drop-in and resident innovators. You'll also discover spacious classrooms for UC programs and a kitchen stocked with coffee and tea.

  • Event spaces: Our roomy, modular event areas can accomodate sizable teams with presentation capabilities and on-site staff assistance. If you're interested in booking one of our event spaces, contact us by phone.
  • Coworking areas: Drop in or reserve private rooms and cubicle-style spaces for individuals and small groups.
  • UC Venture Lab: Faculty, students, staff and entrepreneurs from across the U.S. receive support when launching startups, from navigating the pre-accelerator phase to crafting final to-market strategies.
  • NEXT Accelerator: Those who graduate from the Venture Lab's pre-accelerator phase gather at weekly meetings as new cohorts in the NEXT Accelerator.
  • Entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIRs): EIRs lead cohorts through the Venture Lab and NEXT Accelerator programs, providing expertise and guidance for successfully launching startups.

The third floor has various meeting areas and a full working kitchen open to the UC community.

  • Corporate partner innovation spaces: Our corporate partners maintain year-round satellite offices promoting collaboration between full-time employees and UC students.

On the fourth floor, 1819 staff, corporate leaders and university innovators will help you advance business needs through UC research and co-op opportunities.

How To Get Here

Parking is available at the 1819 Innovation Hub in two convenient lots — one on the east side of the building and one along Winslow Avenue across the street.

The 1819 Innovation Hub is accessible by the UC shuttle on the Innovation District route.

To the east of UC’s main campus in Uptown lie innovative spaces including the medical campus, the Digital Futures building and the 1819 Innovation Hub.
